0-5 Therapy Services

Early childhood is a time of rapid emotional, social, and developmental change. When challenges arise—whether it’s frequent tantrums, separation anxiety, sleep struggles, or difficulty connecting—therapy for young children focuses on the most powerful tool for healing and growth: the relationship between you and your child.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker trained and certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), I use an attachment-based, play-centered, and reflective approach. Sessions are dyadic, meaning both you and your child are present and engaged together. Through guided play, observation, and supportive direction, I help you better understand your child’s needs, strengthen your connection, and build positive patterns of communication and emotional regulation.

Therapy also includes parent-only sessions when helpful, giving you a space to reflect, learn, and integrate strategies that support your child’s development at home. Each family’s process is individualized and grounded in your child’s unique temperament, developmental stage, and your family’s values.

All sessions take place in your home, allowing your child to feel secure and supported in their familiar environment. I provide 50-minute sessions designed to build connection and confidence—helping you understand the “why” behind behaviors and develop tools to nurture emotional growth, cooperation, and resilience.

Therapy for children ages 0–5 can help address:

  • Tantrums, aggression, or emotional dysregulation
  • Separation anxiety or sleep challenges
  • Adjustment to transitions (new sibling, childcare, or routines)
  • Parent–child bonding or attachment concerns
  • Trauma or stressful experiences
  • Developmental or behavioral concerns affecting daily life
